Early U.S. Pressings of Beatles "White Album" and "Sgt. Pepper"

A pair of early U.S. printings of Beatles albums. This stereo edition of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (Capitol SMAS-2653, 1967) has the corrected song title ‘With A Little Help From My Friends’ on the label of side 1, and the text ‘1967 NEMS – NEMS Enterprises Limited’ running vertically along the lower right side of the back cover. This edition of the self-titled album The Beatles, also known as ‘The White Album’ (Apple SWBO-101, 1970), has corrected song titles on all disc labels and is stamped on the front cover with the sequence number ‘A 3038344’; this album includes four photographic inserts, one depicting each member.
Condition
- to Fair; wear, marks and peeling to sleeves, and water damage to “White Album” sleeve. Pencil marks on front cover of Sgt. Pepper and former owner’s name in ink on inside cover of “White Album”. All untested.
