Hafumafa Limited Edition 1973 Embossed Woodblock
Item Details
A limited edition 1973 embossed two-color woodblock signed in pencil to the lower right by artist Hafumafa, titled Work – 73-7-A (Woman). The print is numbered 53 in an edition of 152 in pencil to the lower left, and depicts a large, bold, black shape curving around a circular golden starburst form. Artist seal is marked to the lower left. This work is mounted under black mat, behind non-glare glass in a beveled wood frame with a black and distressed gilt finish.
Condition
- major accretion on glass and frame. Discoloration to mat and print. Finish of frame is worn.
