A set of antique historical books. This selection features a total of nine books, consisting of two sets. One of the sets is titled The Writings of Geroge Washington, including volumes three, four, nine, ten, eleven, and twelve. The books were compiled by Jared Sparks and were published by Hilliard, Gray, and Company and Russel, Odiorne, and Company in 1833. The other set features two copies of volume one and one copy of volume two from History of the American Revolution by John Lendrum, published by J. and B. Williams in 1836. Each book is presented in a leather bound cover with gilt inlay detailing to the front and spine.
