A graphite drawing on paper featuring a Cubist-style portrait of a woman by listed American artist Bob Guccione (New York, 1930 – 2010). This bust portrait features a composite perspective of a woman’s face, combining a profile view on the right half of her face and a frontal view on the left. The work is not signed, but a stamp from the Bob Guccione estate is marked to the verso. The drawing is prsented unmounted and unframed.

Bob Guccione began his artist endeavors during 1949 when he traveled to Italy with basic paint supplies and a few dollars. Despite never receiving formal artist training he premiered his artwork at the Nassau County Museum of Art and the Butler Institute of American Art. Many of his original sketches and painting were created during his time traveling through Rome, Paris, and London during the late 1950s and early 1960s. Later in life, he founded Penthouse Magazine which halted his career as an artist.
