A folk art hand-painted side chair. The various elements of the turnings of the legs, stiles, and spindles, and the ornamentation on the crest rail have been picked out in different colors and/or patterns. The seat has been embellished with a whimsically colored chicken surrounded by stars. ‘Faux Fun’ is painted on the back of the crest rail.
