Timofei Andreevich Lyashchuk Original Mixed Media Prototype for Soviet Propaganda Poster
Item Details
An original watercolor and gouache sketch on paper board by Russian illustrator Timofei Andreevich Lyashchuk (born 1930), created circa 1960 as a prototype for a Soviet propaganda poster. Artist signature is signed in pencil to the verso of the piece. This piece is mounted behind white mat, under museum glass in a simple wood frame with a black painted finish, wired to hang. A black-and-white photocopy of the final published poster is attached to the verso, as well as a photo of the artist and other information.
