A vintage Chinese butterfly box. Constructed from wood, this lidded butterfly-shaped red trinket box features a multicolored floral motif to the top, gold-tone scrolling foliate edging, and gold tone Japanese characters and floral designs to the sides. No visible maker’s mark.
