A 1973 limited edition hand-pulled color lithograph designed by well-listed and renowned kinetic sculptor and Surrealist, Alexander Calder (New York/France; 1898-1976), titled Albi: Calder, created for an exhibition of works at the Musée Toulouse-Lautrec in 1973. The image is comprised of whimsical, swirling shapes, with primary colors filling enclosed spaces against a white backdrop. The print is numbered 58 of an edition of 100 and signed in pencil by the artist to the lower margin; mounted behind glass in a simple wood frame with a distressed silver tone finish.
Condition
- vague smudging around outer edges of print. Finish of frame is chipped and worn. Mitered corners of frame are separating.
