Wooden Tantalus with Hawkes Decanters
Item Details
A wooden locking tantalus set with two Hawkes cut glass decanters. The tantalus has wooden base and central column with a hinged bar across the top to secure the decanters. The matching decanters have thumbprint designs and an etched ‘Hawkes’ mark on the bases. The lot also includes two other glass and silver plate decanters.
Condition
wear consistent with age and use. Decanters would benefit from cleaning
