Vincent Daddiego Original Acrylic Painting on Paper "Autumn"
Item Details
An original acrylic painting on Fabriano Uno fine paper with deckled edges by well-listed contemporary American artist Vincent Daddiego (New York/North Carolina; born 1938), titled Autumn from the artist’s series Let Nature Take its Course. The work displays painted elegantly abstracted geometric shapes covering the surface, painted in warm shades of brown, orange, mustard, and red. The painting is signed in purple ink to the lower right and is titled in purple and blue ink to the lower left. Presented without matting or framing. Daddiego refers to his work as “Baroque Expressionism”, as he fuses his Abstract Expressionist formal training under the likes of William Baziotes, Robert Motherwell and Willem deKooning, with his affinity for the musically curvilinear shapes of the Baroque period.
