A vintage 1986 signed limited edition embossing with gold leaf accents by contemporary Canadian Coast Salish Indian artist Susan A. Point (born 1952), titled Salish Wolf. Point is part of the Western Pacific Engraving school of artists, who create work inspired by man’s search for identity in nature. This print features a circular abstracted image of the legendary creature the Salish Wolf, embossed and accented with gold leaf. The Western Pacific Engravers blindstamp is embossed to the lower right, and the piece is signed, dated, titled, and numbered 358/1000 in pencil to the lower margin. Presented without matting or framing.
