A pair of Chinese scrolls. The first scroll is a watercolor depicting squirrels on a branch and is signed ‘Painted by Huixian’ (慧先畫 Huixian hua) and the seal reads ‘Ma Huixian’ (馬慧先), attributing the work to Ma Huixian (馬慧先, 1929-2014), a Chinese contemporary female artist. The small scroll is a print depicting the Great Wall in a mountainous landscape on a gold tone background. The piece has a poetic inscription about the Wall in the snow. The scrolls come in a box.
