An original large-scale abstract acrylic on canvas by contemporary American Abstract Expressionist Robbie Kemper (Cincinnati, Ohio; born 1957), titled Blue Wash on White Shape, circa 2010. The image depicts an energetic, non-objective composition of saturated white, yellow, red sap green and cobalt blue pigments aggressively intertwined, mixed, and layered and splattered. Artist signature is signed to the lower left. This piece is not framed. Kemper studied art at the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning, and is currently a studio resident at the Pendleton Art Center in the historic district of Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati, Ohio.
