Early 20th Century Japanese Fukagawa Ware Porcelain Vase
Item Details
An early 20th century Japanese Fukagawa ware porcelain vase. With a slender base and a wide shoulder, the vase features peonies in full bloom rendered in shades of coral and blue. The underside is marked ‘Made by Fukagawa’ (深川製 Fukagawa sei) underneath a mountain, a mark used by the Fukagawa Porcelain Company (Fukgawa Seiji) circa 1900-1920.
