William Duebber Original Large-Scale Acrylic Figure Painting on Canvas
Item Details
An original large-scale acrylic figure painting on canvas by contemporary American artist William Duebber (Cincinnati; 1941 – 2014). The image depicts a portrait of a seated woman, wearing a long, simple white gown, placed against an ambiguous multi-colored backdrop. Artist signature is signed in thinned brown paint to the lower right and marked to the verso as well. The painting is mounted in a simple wooden slat frame with a black finish. A hanging wire is attached to the verso. Duebber graduated from the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Art and Architecture in 1964. His career in graphic design, commercial art, package design and art direction did not deter his passion for fine art, as his work has been exhibited in Cincinnati and Indianapolis Galleries for thirty years. His works are represented in the collections of numerous private and corporate businesses including Coca-Cola, AT&T, Carlisle Corporation, and Providence Hospital.
