Erté Signed Limited Edition Serigraph "Tanagra (Blue)"

A signed limited edition serigraph on paper designed by the well-listed Russian-born French artist and fashion designer known as Erté (1892 – 1990), titled Tanagra (Blue). The image depicts a tall, thin woman dressed in a sweeping, silken white garment, wearing brown over-the-elbow gloves and a pointed brown hat, fanning herself demurely with a decorative spade-shaped fan with a face painted on it. She stands before a nondescript blue backdrop with metallic speckles. This print is numbered 33 in an edition of 100 and signed by the artist in pencil to the lower margin; mounted behind white liner with gilt fillet, under acrylic glass in a wood frame with a white finish. A label to the verso from Minotaur Galleries is attached.
Condition
- light rippling across print. Finish of frame is scratched throughout, and bottom left corner applique is missing.
