Early Noritake Vases

Item Details

A pair of early Noritake vases. This collection features a white hand-painted floral vase with a glossy brown neck and gold enameled trim, marked with a Noritake hallmark, used up until approximately 1938. Also included is an unidentified early Noritake urn with gilded trim that depicts imagery of a scenic landscape with birds near a body of water in the foreground, and an array of trees with houses in the distance. Marked to the underside with an unusual green stamp for ‘IE & C Co.’ within a green wreath, believed to have been used between approximately 1900-1940 by a firm intending the works for export to Australia, but this is not confirmed as a specific Noritake make.
