A signed limited edition 1990 serigraph on black rag paper by well-listed contemporary American Surreal Modernist Mark Kostabi (California/New York/Italy, born 1960), titled Kostabi #5. The image depicts a moody rendering of a glass cologne bottle, on which an image of two anonymous figures locked in an intimate embrace is applied. The print is numbered 51 in an edition of 20, signed and dated by the artist in pencil to the lower margin; housed behind glass in a rounded metal frame with a matte warm silver tone finish. Kostabi’s work is represented in numerous major private and public collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; the Guggenheim Museum, New York; and the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
