A signed limited edition 1978 serigraph on paper by well-listed and renowned wildlife artist and conservationist, Charley Harper (1922 – 2007), titled Hare’s Breadth. The image depicts the cottontail-end of a rabbit escaping down the rabbit hole, fleeing for its life from a large bird of prey, whose ominous shadow looms overhead. This print is numbered 71 in an edition of 2500 and signed in pencil by the artist to the lower margin; mounted behind gray and tan double mat, under glass in a tiered wood frame with a wire to the verso. Original folio for print from Frame House Gallery and paperwork are attached to the verso.
Condition
- frame is nicked and scratched in a few areas throughout.
