Tom Lohre Original Oil Painting on Panel "Bengal"

Item Details

An original 2005 oil painting on panel by contemporary Cincinnati artist and inventor Tom Lohre, titled Bengal. The image was painted on location at Cincinnati’s Paul Brown Stadium. It depicts a cheerleader standing proudly on the field as a massive crowd of onlookers fill the bleachers behind her. Artist signature is hand-signed in red to the lower right. The painting is mounted in an attractive composite frame with cast surface embellishments, antiqued gold tone finish, and a hanging wire. Extensive additional information about the artist and the piece is attached to the verso, along with a hanging wire. Lohre attests to be the first to have ever painted a spaceship from life; he also painted the eruption of Mt. Saint Helens from life. More information about the artist can be found at his website, located below under Additional Information.
