A signed limited edition 2015 serigraph by contemporary street artist Aelhra, titled Many Mao 2. This image, created in the Pop art aesthetic, features tiled images of Mao Zedong, or Chairman Mao, who served as the Chairman of the Communist Party of China from 1949 until his death in 1976. Often credited for pushing imperialism from China, Mao made an incredible impact on China and the world with his revolutionary concepts about political policies and military strategies. This serigraph features a hot pink background, with overlapping portraits of the Chinese leader in alternating shades of lime green and navy blue. This work is numbered 62/75 in pencil to lower left, and signed and dated in pencil to lower right; mounted under white mat, behind glass in a matte black composite frame, wired to hang.
