A signed aquatint on paper by Edward T. Hurley (1869-1950) titled Christ Church Tower from a 5th Story Doorway. This print depicts an arched doorway leading to a square filled with vendors and a church tower in the distance and is signed by hand in graphite and dated 1927 to the lower right corner of the main image. Mounted under a single layer of cream matting, the print is presented under glass in a gold tone wood frame. A wire for hanging purposes, a framer’s decal and a gallery decal with the artist name and title of the piece are all present to the verso of the frame. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Hurley is best known for his etchings, landscapes, and designs for the Rookwood Pottery Company from 1896-1948.

- frame has scratches throughout; paper is wavy; residue to glass; minor punctures in dust cover.
