A David Wright inscribed offset lithograph of a cavalryman. This piece depicts a United States cavalryman in full dress looking back while mounted on his horse, a group of militia-style soldiers in the mid-ground and a small range of mountains in the background. Along the bottom right is a signature in plate of David Wright (Modern, America), and inscribed along the bottom ‘My Best Wishes to Jesse’ followed by a signature from Wright and a date of ‘5/22/98’. The piece rests inside a black and burgundy double matting and a walnut frame with a black border. Verso hanging hardware is present. Wright is a renown frontier times artist and primarily uses those times for his source material.
