An assortment of Silver Age (1956-circa 1970) comics from the publishers Marvel and D.C. This collection contains eleven issues from a wide variety of series. Of particular note is issue #62 (July 1968) from the first The Amazing Spider-Man series. The issue features the story ‘Make Way for Medusa!’ by comics legend Stan Lee. Also included are issue #279 of Action Comics (Aug. 1961), issue #1 of the first Avengers Annual (Sept. 1967), #49 of Sgt. Fury (Dec. 1967), two issues from the first Daredevil series (#32-3 Sept.-Oct. 1967), issue #68 of the first Fantastic Four series (Nov. 1967), issue #37 from the first Uncanny X-Men (Oct. 1967), issue #145 from the first Thor series (Oct. 1967), issue #11 of Marvel Tales (Nov. 1967), issue #11 of Fantasy Masterpieces (Oct. 1967), and issue #4 of the parody series Not Brand Echh (Nov. 1967). These comics are loose.
Condition
- to fair; various degrees of light to moderate wear to the spines and covers of the comics; some discoloration; some light color cracks.
