Item Details

An antique long nose woods golf club by Scottish born John Allan. Club features a sheepskin grip, a horn inlay on head, with copper stud/nails and is incised J. Allan on the head. Allan was a respected club maker in Devon and produced long nose clubs from 1867-1890. Allan was also one of the first professional golfers at the oldest course in England, Prestwick & Westward Ho.
