A hand-knotted Indo-Heriz Serapi carpet runner. This runner features five single file eight-pointed medallions down the center of the carpet on a red backdrop ornamented with arabesque patterns. A samovar design borders the rug on a black ground color. Cream colored, wool fringe appears on either end of the rug. There are no maker’s marks or labels present.
