A limited edition serigraph on paper by listed Swedish/American artist Astrid Preston (1945-). Titled Afternoon Garden, this depicts a highly manicured formal garden with tall cypress trees among topiary box hedges. A crest of purple mountains is visible in the distance. It is signed in the lower right corner, and numbered eighty-four out of an edition of 295 in the lower left. This work is presented with a double mat of rose and cream, under glass in a pale gold wood and gesso frame, wired for hanging. A certificate of authenticity from 2003 is attached on verso.
