A limited edition artist proof serigraph on paper by listed Swedish/American artist Astrid Preston (1945-). Titled Morning Garden, this depicts a highly manicured formal garden with purple blossomed trees among topiary box hedges. A crest of blue mountains is visible in the distance. It is signed in the lower right corner, and numbered twenty-six out of an edition of sixty-five in the lower left. This work is presented with a double mat of rose and cream, under glass in a pale gold wood and gesso frame, wired for hanging. A certificate of authenticity from 2003 is attached on verso. - scratches to upper left and right of glass; sticker and tape to the lower right of frame.
