Handwoven Indo-Persian Heriz Carpet Runner
Item Details
A handwoven Indo-Persian Heriz carpet runner. The wool rug features several eight pointed medallions down the center of the field in a palette of deep blue, cream, green, and red, the medallions resting on a deep red field with spandrels to each corner. The field is populated with floral guls in a complementary palette and is framed by a classic turtle primary border. The rug has overcast edges and finishes with short wool fringe in a camel tone to each end. It is marked on the underside.
