A handwoven Turkish kilim. This wool runner features a multihued geometric design woven in variegated yarns. The rug’s field features six joined diamond medallions amid a bright palette of red, yellow, blue, green, and brown. Borders include running dog patterns and ashik Ersari motifs. The rug has double overcast edges and finishes in knotted blue wool warp fringe. It is unmarked.
