1870s American Style Oval Frame with Gesso Molding
Item Details
An American style oval frame with gesso molding from around the 1870s. Featured is an oval frame with a decorated back edge with scroll designed. The inner edge displays a nature motif with a branch molding along with leaves, berries, and nuts. The cove molding has a speckled design with a decorated interior liner. To the verso, a provenance label is present to the verso.

- gesso molding is missing from the frame.
