A signed, limited edition lithograph by renowned Surrealist Salvador Dalí (1904-1989) titled Purgatory Canto 3. This lithograph depicts two gaunt figures, the one in the background seen bent at the waist while the foremost figure has its arms outspread, reaching past its large, angelic wings. The print is signed and numbered 120/150 in purple to lower margin. It is mounted beneath a single layer of white silk matting and is presented behind glass in a blonde wood frame with hanging wire present to verso. Included in the Catalogue Raisonné, “The Official Catalog of the Graphic Works of Salvador Dali” by Albert Field, catalogue pages 192 and 197. A certificate of authenticity from Jerry Bengis ISA is attached to the verso, though it includes some inaccurate information about the piece.
