Vintage Heywood Wakefield Armchair and End Table

Item Details

A vintage Heywood Wakefield end table and armchair. The end table is made of maple of cherry wood, featuring a rectangular shape, with a partially enclosed small shelf on one end. Below the tabletop is an open shelf supported between the round, turned wood legs. It is stamped ‘Heywood Wakefield’ to the underside. The Windsor style armchair is made of cherry or maple in a medium stained finish. The back spindles are round; the side spindles and arm supports are turned wood, as are the chair legs and stretchers. The seat is wide and contoured, and the arms are straight and flat, with rounded sides. The chair is also marked ‘Heywood Wakefield’, along with the number 27 and another number which is partially distorted.

- water mark on top of table; water marks or stains to the chair seat
- both pieces have light surface marks, dings, scratches and general wear consistent with age and normal use
