A Louis XV style flip-top buffet by Karges of Evansville, Indiana. The black painted wood table has ornate gold painted foliate designs to the front and to the tops of the cabriole legs. The tabletop is hinged on both sides, and can be folded out for more work space. When the leaves are folded out, the surface is black laminate material. There is a dovetailed drawer which is fitted with dividers and compartments for storage. The drawer has a brass tone metal tag marked ‘Karges Evansville, Indiana’.
