An original charcoal drawing on paper by contemporary American artist Robbie Kemper (Cincinnati, born 1957), titled Nude 142. The image depicts a highly abstracted nude female form, drawn with aggressive linework. Her head hangs over her slumped shoulders as her arm crosses dramatically across her body. The drawing is signed in pencil to the lower left and is signed and titled to the verso. It is mounted to black foam core and matted in black, presented without framing. Kemper studied art at the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning, and is currently a studio resident at the Pendleton Art Center in the historic district of Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati.
