An oil painting on board of an oceanscape. This impressionist painting depicts a gathering of three women standing on a grassy cliff that overlooks a rolling tide beneath a calm sky. An artist signature appearing to read ‘Westwood’ is found to the lower right corner of the composition. The painting is presented in a gold tone wooden frame featuring moulded American Sweetheart patterning to the surface and hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- slight yellowing of varnish visible in sky; wear to finish of frame especially at corners.
