A serigraph poster for the kabuki play titled The Zen Substitute (Migawari Zazen) performed in 1983. This poster depicts the character of Lord Ukyo wearing a garment of pink tones with a floral and dragon motif. Along the left of the figure are four squares with magnified details from the main image. Withing margin below the image is printed text stating the play was presented by the University of Kentucky Theatre Department College of Fine Arts. The play was performed by the Illinois Grand Kabuki on March 27, 1983 on the University of Kentucky campus. Presented as an unframed and unmatted poster.

Condition

- some creasing is present around the figures head; stains are present to the upper right corner; light damage is present along the edges of the paper.
