Berra and Bouton Signed Books

An assortment of three baseball hardbound books, all of which have been autographed. Yogi signed the free endpaper of his book Yogi Berra and Ed Fitzgerald first edition 1961; he personalized his signature ‘To Lonnie Wheeler Best Wishes’, then his signature. Lonnie Wheeler is a respected author of biographies of Hank Aaron, Bob Gibson, Mike Piazza just to name a few. Bob Edwards wrote a book Fridays with Red A Radio Friendship 1993 first edition. This book is about Bob’s friendship with baseball legendary baseball announcer Red Barber (Reds 1934-1938, Brooklyn Dodgers 1939-1953 and the Yankees 1954-1966). The third book is Jim Bouton’s Ball Four The Final Pitch this version was printed in 2000. Jim signed the free endpaper and numbered his signature 12/2000. This book cover’s Jim’s account of his baseball year with the 1969 Seattle Pilots and the Houston Astors.
