Custom Velvet Armchair

Item Details

A custom velvet armchair. This throne-like chair features an acanthus-carved serpentine crest with a pierced center to the crest. The intricate sides are serpentine with c-scrolls; back of the chair features an Indian textile motif beaded section. Arms are scrolled outward, with the padded blue velvet being accented by nailhead trim throughout. The chair sits on cabriole legs with acanthus-carved knees, scroll feet, and a scrolling h-stretcher. The wooden frame of this item has been painted in a distressed silver finish.
