An orignnal oil painting on canvas mounted to board by contemporary Cincinnati artist Bruno Zabaglio, titled Pollock Figures. This painting depicts a ghostly rendering of two figures standing in a dark doorway, having the semblance of an old-fashioned photograph, yet obliterated by aggressive splatters and drips of vibrant, saturated paint. Artist name and title are written on a piece of white tape attached to the verso. This piece is unframed.
Bruno Zabaglio received an undergraduate degree as well as a Curatorial Practiced Graduate Certificate from the University of Cincinnati. Zabaglio’s work focuses on capturing moments, expressions, and sensations around a subject, which subsequently creates an emotion from the viewer. His work has been exhibited in various galleries and shows around Cincinnati, Ohio, including the Redtree Gallery, Essex Studios, and the Annex Art Gallery.
