An American Drew dining table and eight chair set. The top features a curving ogee edge, with matched walnut veneers and a burl walnut veneer border over an incised oak skirt. The table rests on four cabriole legs with acanthus leaf detailing at the shoulders. It includes two leafs. The collection includes a pair of captain’s chairs and six side chairs. The captain’s chairs both feature an upholstered back and seat cushion with arched back and floral detailing to the center of the top rail. The backs of all of the chairs are slightly rolled and each chair rests on a pair of cabriole legs to the front and saber legs to the back. The backs each feature a scrolling criss-crossed carved ribbon design. The chairs are each upholstered with a striped jacquard fabric in cream, rose, sage and beige tones.
