A hand-knotted circa 1930s Tabriz area rug. This wool rug features a center medallion with pendants that reaches into a field of floral sprays and corner spandrels. It has a primary border with a Senneh inspired pattern. The rug offers a palette of pink, red, navy blue, cornflower blue, cream, tan, gold, teal green, light green, and yellow. It is finished with overcast edges and a natural warp fringe at either end. This rug does not have maker’s mark or tag.
