Painted and Sculptural Decorative Eggs
Item Details
A collection of painted and sculptural decorative eggs. Included are six eggs in a variety of styles and color palettes, featuring one piece displayed in a clear glass box, depicting an East Asian inspired figure. Two pieces are hollowed on the interior and contain sculptural elements protruding from within, which feature a bird nesting on flowers and a pair of people sitting at a bench. The porcelain egg depicting Bluebirds was produced by the Danbury Mint by Robert Tory Peterson, which is marked in gold tone to the verso.
