An original oil seascape on academy board signed illegibly to the lower right by the artist. This coastal scene depicts a rocky shoreline surrounding an estuary in the foreground, emptying into a vast blue sea. White sails are seen on the horizon, as unseen passengers take advantage of the beautiful day. This painting is mounted in a beveled wood frame with a gold leaf finish.

- accretion on painting. Light discoloration to painting. Finish of frame is worn along edges and corners.
