An Italian Anri Ferrandiz music box. This box features a wood frame with an inlay design of hearts and ribbons scrolling along its side and a hand painted carved applique on its lid of two children playing the piano. The hinged lid opens to reveal a paper insert attached to the inside of the lid featuring the music box’s playlist, marked ‘32/3000’, and two storage compartments lined by red felt. The underside of the box is marked ‘Reuge Serenade – Schubert Swiss Musical Movement Genuine Wood Carving by Anri Italy’.
