An antique 1903 edition of Buster Brown and His Resolutions (Frederick A. Stokes Company Publishers) by R.F. Outcault. It features collected full color comic strips starring the mischievous Buster Brown, his sweetheart Mary Jane, and his talking dog Tige. Brown’s comic strip ran from 1902 to 1921, and the character was adopted as the Brown Shoe Company mascot in 1904.
