1919 Howard Chandler Christy Half-Tone Print "Americans All!"
Item Details
A 1919 half-tone print by Howard Chandler Christy (1873-1952) titled Americans All!. This post-World War I print features an allegorical woman holding green acanthus leaves in her left hand and clutching the American flag with her right arm. The left side of the print features green lettering which reads ‘Honor Roll’ with a list of surnames and the piece is titled Americans All! in orange to the top of the print. The piece is signed in plate by the artist, presented beneath glass, and encompassed by a gold tone metal frame featuring hanging wire on its verso.
