Framed Lithograph "Eliza of Providence"
Item Details
A framed lithograph on paper of an original watercolor titled Eliza of Providence, January 1802. This piece depicts a large ship accented with white sails and surrounded by other smaller boats traveling across the ocean. The title of the piece is present in typeset below the main image and the print is mounted under glass in a stained wood frame. A wire for hanging purposes and three decals with additional information about the ship and reading ‘From the original watercolor in the Victor Collection at the Peabody Museum of Salem, Massachusetts. Copyright 1981 by the Peabody Museum of Salem’ and ‘Reproduced by the Meriden Gravure Company’ are present to verso of the frame.
