A framed original oil painting on canvas of a pastoral scene with a mill. This piece depicts two figures standing next to a pond feed to by a mill while a mountain range sits in the background. Signed by hand illegibly in paint to the lower right corner, the piece is mounted in a stained wood frame with a textured beige liner and brown wood fillet. A wire for hanging purposes is present to verso of the frame.
Condition
- to fair; stains to top center and right, scratch to lower left right below structure in brown, abrasions to edges of the canvas, the edge of canvas visible to the right side, stains, fraying to the liner, wear, abrasions, and stains to the frame, molding separating to both top corners.
