W. Larson Oil Painting on Canvas of a Fox Hunting Scene
Item Details
An oil painting on canvas by W. Larson (early 20th century). This depicts a man, mounted on a chestnut, dressed in a traditional fox hunting red habit, upon a field talking to a farmer. They are surrounded by a pack of hunting hounds. The work is signed in the lower left corner, and presented within a gold tone wooden frame, wired for hanging.
Condition
- frame has minor scratches throughout; frame is beginning to separate at corners; possibly relined; stamped on verso of canvas.
